PIONEERS

Originally we were 116 and after apparent shortage for the past 2 years, we are left with only what? 50++ people?

That is sad :(

Sometimes I wish time would stop so I can remain with everyone here but that is just the selfish side of me.

From here on, we will have our own path to walk through. Even when we're not together,

PIONEERS

The toughest, awesomest, craziest, loveliest and etc batch. No one can replace us :D

Friendships vs. Relationships

Yeah, it's great that your friend has found his/her partner, and naturally you're happy for them but here's the thing:

YOU BEING HAPPY DOESN'T MATTER TO THEM NOW

While you may have been supportive and happy of their relationship, you know most of the time relationship will win over your friendship and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

It's sad and pitiful really when relationships exist, friendship somwtimes becomes less and less important :(

Really, what happened to being true friends who'll be there in times of happiness and hardships? It won't matter anymore once you have another shoulder to cry on which makes me wonder:

WERE WE EVER TRUE FRIENDS?

All I can do now is wish your relationship doesn't take a toll on our friendship

Sarawak Laksa. It feels like I'm Home

I've been dying ever so slowly from wanting to eat this delicious local cuisine from my state. Not finding any place that offers this delicacy to quench my thirst, in the end it was decided we'd just make it ourselves.

And the result..... Haha... Not bad at all. Thoroughly exhausted though because all the kitchen we had to work with is a small rice cooker.

Hmm, anyway, next time I'll definitely make more for others. The best thing about food is when you share it with people afterall :D

Lazy~

SAT are just like, 3 days away and here I am, lazing around in my room as if I don't have a care in the world

...........

Well, personally I don't care really. I mean, doesn't really matter whether I study here or abroad, it's how I make use the knowledge I gain that counts.

We'll see how it turns out then~

Not-so-master chef

Haha, including this, it should be my third time cooking. And I mean, cooking.

Back then, when my mom asked me to help out in the kitchen...
Well I'll be damned,
I was the first one to sprint out of the house to Mars!

Anyway, truthfully I can't cook. I can make simple dishes, but nothing extravagant like ayam masak this and that...

Pegang ayam pun belum tentu mau -.-
Tau makan je...

So today I made a simple vegetable soup (without any green veggies), using a rice cooker. It's easy really. Here's how for those of you who don't know:

1. Boil the water. The level of water is what actually determines the receipe. I used a rice cooker and I put in about 3/4 water in.

2. Put in about a pinch of salt, one tablespoon of cooking oil, half tablespoon of black peppers, one and a half chicken cubes, fried onions and throw in a bit of seasoning. You can ignore the measurements as long as it suits your taste :D

3. Put in the vegetables you've cut. Doesn't really matter what (in my case, I prefer potatoes and carrots)

4. Stir for a while and let it cook. Check in once in a while to see if the potatoes have soften. Also check in on the taste just incase you want to add more stuff in it.

5. If you think the potato have soften it's pretty much done. So, enjoy your hard work! :)

Been a Long Time but I'm Home Sweetheart

Yep.
It's been a long time since I came around. I can see this place is seriously dusty and spiders are crawling around in their web everywhere!

Someone call the exterminator please!

Anyway, just a brief update.

Exams are over.
Results are practically down the drain all the way flushing itself to Alaska.
1 week semester break.
Parents came and went out shopping :)
Omgee bought a pair of cute red heels!
Bought two new books.
And oh yeah,

Still have to submit Jati Diri research proposal by 25/04/2013. Omgee!

Intensive Calculus

Syukor-sensei in action :)

The Future

After much consideration, I feel much calmer thinking about the future now.

I still would like to major in Pharmaceuticals/Polymer Science but the first chance I got to work with helping third world countries children will be me living my dream career.

Of course, I don't expect it'll be an all too fabulous job with a fat paycheck but I live by the motto that touching one's life is life greatest achievement.

Now, I could only see and feel fragments of the suffering they are really feeling from lack of food, health facilities, education and financial aid. Children in Africa, Palestine, India and such, they lack the proper care that I fully intend to give. With my major, I plan to do many research to help them improve their living conditions other than setting up 'child improvement program' that focuses on going all out to maximize the potential these children have. Not forgetting the women folk as well.

Originally, everyone was born equals, they are of no exception. The only difference now is that we were lucky to be born not of the same shoes they were born and fit into.

I hope that one day I do get to do this. I know it seems like all talk and no work :(

But patience and hard work pays off. Allah's offering (rezeki) is for everyone, just not at the time we might have want it.

So, Insyaallah, I will live this dream to fulfill the dreams of those children :)

Nothing is impossible.

Burning the Midnight Oil... and Maggie!

Awesome, tired, productive night :)

Without realizing it, it was already a little after two and tired from all the vigorous studying, spent the next half an hour cooking maggie in a rice cooker- rice cooker credit to Paan :P

Maggie sure can bring friends closer :D,
Especially those with an empty stomach.

Syukor's the talented soon-to-be-mathematics-major chef

Irfan's the next pharmacist/doctor who 'helpfully oversee' our cooking skills

Choo is the sweet and considerate not-too-long-from-now dentist.

Shark's the generous future psychologist.

And me? I'm just the girl who has big dreams of changing people's lives and has way too many maggie in her stock!

Thanks for the awesome night.

Other All-Nighter

Guess tonight's another all nighter then :)(:

Tough Choices For Teens

At some point in your life, you're going to come to an intersection where you might resent the choices you make.

Admittedly, when it comes to picking something, I could never decide which is the best because surely, when that time comes, the few choices that we are left with is the best out of million others.

This year I decided to continue on in ASASIpintar. I remain here for my third year, completing foundation studies instead of high school now. Along the way, I did get other interesting (and most probably what other calls better) offers than here.

There was one from UPM, UTP foundation and Taylor's. But in the end, I chose to remain. 20% of that decision admittedly, contributed a lot by my dad who insisted I remain here.

And so, here I am. Finals are 3 days away. That will decide whether I'll remain after this or now. Insyaallah, whatever happens after this is god will and god knows best for all of us.

I do regret having to pass up some offer but maybe, just maybe it would have been worse for me to leave this place, which unconciously I had come to care and love for.

I made my choice. I guess we'll have to wait and see if it's the right one.

The Probabilty of Failing

Probability.

Oh whoever invented the study of probability, you just need to know what's going to happen don't you?

Guess you're not a fan of surprises then.

3 days to finals. Another 4 to Statistics. Dead
